MISSION STATEMENT

Holy Angels Cathedral Parish in the City and Diocese of Gary, a Catholic Community united around the Eucharist with each other, with our Pastor, our Bishop and the Holy Father, conscious of our baptismal commitment joyfully declare that our mission is:

 •    to live a life of close relationship with God the Father

 •    to proclaim the Good News of His Son, Jesus Christ

 •    to witness to the presence of the Holy Spirit in our community and world

 •   and to foster reconciliation and harmony, peace and justice among God's people

We further confirm the call to be a family of families where diversity is valued.  We welcome everyone to live our mission with us, where we all belong, sharing one faith, worship and service.

Declaracion de Nuestra Mision

La parroquia de la Catedral de los Santos Angeles en la ciudad y la diocesis de Gary, una comunidad catolica unida alrededor de la Eucaristia con cada uno, con nuestro pastor, nuestro obispo y el papa, consciente de nuestra promesa bautismal declaramos que nuestra mision es:

•   vivir una vida en relacion cercana con Dios, Padre

•   proclamar las buenas noticias de su hijo, Jesucristo

•   atestiguar a la presencia del Espiritu Santo en nuestra comunidad y mundo

•  y para fomentar la reconciliacion y armonia, paz y justicia entre la gente de Dios

Confirmamos la llamada para ser una familia de las familias donde se valora la diversidad.  Damos la bienvenida a cada uno para vivir nuestra mision con nosotros, donde nosotros todos pertenecemos, compartiendo una fe, adoracion y servicio.
